Solowsky & Allen, P.L. Successfully Defends Clients by Obtaining a Dismissal with Prejudice in the Trial Court and Winning the Appeal

Litigators Richard L. Allen, Esq. and Lauren Kain Whaley, Esq. of Solowsky & Allen, P.L. successfully defended two businessmen who were sued by their former business partner and former employer for alleged fraud, conspiracy, and breach of fiduciary duty in connection with complex business transactions valued at millions of dollars. On three separate occasions, after briefing and argument to the court, litigators from Solowsky & Allen, P.L. convinced the trial court to dismiss the Plaintiffs’ complaints. The third time, the Court granted the law firm’s request to dismiss the complaint with prejudice. The Plaintiffs appealed the order of dismissal to the Third District Court of Appeal. After briefing and oral argument, Solowsky & Allen, P.L. won the appeal. The Court of Appeal issued a reported opinion affirming the dismissal of the complaint.
